Kristin is a veteran teacher of 25 years experience in the field of Art Education. She holds degrees in Art Education, Design, and Educational Administration from The Ohio State University and Xavier University. 

 

As a long time member of the Ohio Art Education Association, she served as a Workshop Presenter/Lecturer, Elementary Division Chair, Elected Board Member to the Executive Committee, and the State Convention Coordinator for Ohio.

 

Kristin served for many years on the State Committee for Arts and Innovative Thinking (CAIT) for the Ohio Department of Education. She has earned the status of National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), been selected as an Ohio Master Teacher, and has been recognized as a Highly Qualified Professional in the field of Art Education through assignment by the Ohio Department of Education.

In her business venture through Home Design Innovations by MK, she is offering guidance, instruction, and training in Art & Design for people from all walks of life. Those who need certification to advance or maintain their professional licensure, homeowners who want to improve their interiors, as well as students of Interior Design will all benefit from her instruction. She also works with classroom teachers who want to infuse new matierlal into their practice and curriculum.
